New CIMA MRes in Musculoskeletal Ageing established

News - September 25th 2013

CIMA extends a warm welcome to our twelve students studying towards the CIMA MRes in Musculoskeletal Ageing. Students have registered with one main CIMA site, but will have access to the resources, facilities and supervision across the CIMA consortium as visiting students. During the first semester, students undertake a number of taught modules which will provide a wide breadth of knowledge and critical understanding of the integrated musculoskeletal system as a whole, and the effects ageing has upon this system. These modules are delivered by e-learning, with student and tutor live interactions taking place within a virtual classroom. During the second semester, students will undertake a research project and receive multidisciplinary skills training specific to their individual training needs. They will also have the opportunity to undertake an exchange visit at another CIMA site (for example, to learn a particular research technique in another laboratory).

If you would like more information about the CIMA MRes, or would like to apply for 2014 entry, please visit our Training page, or email Jaegerl@liverpool.ac.uk
